I take a few commissions every year, typically in the areas of Lyric Images (art with words), portraits, animal portraits, and homes. I work primarily in Prismacolor or Faber-Castell colored pencil with touches of art marker and acrylic. The images below show the range of my work, as do the Originals and Prints galleries. 9/8/2019 - Commissions are currently on hiatus. I welcome inquiries, though, and will be available to start work on new commissions by January 2020.
Do you have an idea for a picture composed of poetry? We can work together to make a Lyric Image commission based on your words, my words, or a favorite quote or verse. I create my Lyric Images primarily in Prismacolor pencil with touches of art marker and acrylic.
Commissions vary in price based on size and complexity. For purposes other than in-home display, licensing agreements are available for an additional charge. I reserve the right to display finished images in my portfolio and sell prints, but I may waive that right under certain conditions. I may decline to make pieces based on suggested images or quotes if they risk infringing on another's copyright.
